Top 5 Sketchup Plugins for Beginners

In this video we will talk about 5 of my favorite and most used SketchUp plugins. These plugins will help you level up your 3d modeling game, and will make using sketchup easier and faster.

The 1st plugin is called Zorro2, which is basically a SketchUp plugin that makes slicing and creating sections so much faster.

The 2nd plugin is called Round Corner, this plugin makes rounding corners in sketchup a no-brainer.

The 3rd plugin is called Profile Builder Plugin which is like a more advanced follow me, ideal for creating pipes, cornice and railings.

The 4th plugin is called SketchUV, which is a texture mapping tool, that will help you map out complicated textures into more complicated geometry.

The last plugin is called V-Ray for SketchUp. It is a rendering engine that helps you achieve photo-realistic rendered presentations that are modeled within sketchup.

Im a maya User,
Plugin one Zorro
In maya we use inbuild tool : Slice Tool

Plugin 2, Round conner
In maya is called Bevel Edges.

Plugin 3, Profile builder.
In maya it's called extrude Surface using 2 paths.
Plugin 4. sketch uv.
Well there is seperate section for UV Unwarping in maya.

Last one was valid one.
As we also need to install vray for maya ✍️✍️

1. Weld for broken line welding
2. JHS POWER BAR includes mirror, line to face push pull, and many others, I use those 2 function so often
3. tt cleanup, to cleanup your model unused texture, extra line.
4. Fredo scale, like extend in CAD
5. Fredo joint pushpull, pushpull a not flat face.
6. Fredo tools, theres a thrupaint, I think it is better than the UV
7. make face, give a face to your CAD file
8. Skalp give texture to your section cut
JUST too many..., and ENSCAPE render, so fast!

I'm a Filipino and I've been using Trimble Sketchup since 2012 (then known as Google Sketchup). I consider doing Sketchup as a hobby though I had no basic knowledge about the software (kumbaga kumakapa lang).

Currently, I'm doing a stage set of The Voice (UK BBC Version). I'd also made the US version. Nafafscinate kasi ako sa stage set ng The Voice may pagka-futuristic ang dating niya.

Hopefully, you can also make basic tutorials for beginners and hobbyist like me!
