Crisis Response: Calgary 911

The partnership between The Calgary Police Service, Calgary 911 and Distress Centre Calgary/211 Calgary sees call-takers from Calgary 911 and 211 co-located to work together to co-ordinate appropriate resources to callers experiencing non-emergency crises. By co-locating, call-takers are able to identify and provide the right resources to callers and divert the calls away from police and other emergency responders.
