This is what music is supposed to be like. Telling a story that we can all relate to.

Great voice, great song 🎶 No record label, Contracts, or comping! No producers, props or mix engineers… Just pure great music as it should be, in nature’s natural environment, with only man’s best friends as an audience! Reminds me of the music of the 70’s !!

I love this song, it reminds me of how I met my wife, I drove a 97 Chevy 6.5 diesel, and we have dogs and have a creek in our backyard where we live now. Love your music brother, never stop

I just found you guy! I'm on my third song now and I'm wondering how you have escaped me for a whole year. You are just amazing! Reading the comments I must agree with a lot of these folks that you are putting our lives to music. And it sounds Thanks

I hope to hop in my 90 some Chevy with my sweetie and drive to one of your live performances. I'm the descendant of Appalachian Hillbilly's in Western North Carolina and your music is a reflection of our lives. Stay grounded in your heritage while reaching for the stars. May God's richest blessings be yours brother.

As a classical musician, classical guitarist to be exact I've found myself being more obsessed over the years with technique, tone, interpretation than letting the music lift my soul.
This was an umbridled epiphany, sheer emotion all the way around.

Thank you, thank you for this

I’m East Tennessee Applachian mountains born and bred. My family is still there and have been there for over a hundred years, coal miners and farmers….or doing whatever they could to earn a living…..Independant, Strong, survivors……that just want to earn a living to provide for their families and be left alone, especially left along by the goverment.

Descendants of the Irish, Welsh, Cornish and Scottish that came to this area to live free. And this is the kind of music I grew up listning to….just a few men and women sitting on the front porch or around a fire, picking and singing…. No desire to make it big, just singing for family friends and for the Glory of the God that gave them the talent to sing and pick at church on Sunday. Hardworking, humble people, ……and survivors.
I love this music…..It’s the honesty and rawness, (and that it’s the voice of so many of us that are voiceless, ) that makes it so good .

When I read or heard that Hank Williams Jr. is an influence in your music it all made sense. I just want to encourage your voice. Not just what we hear in tenor and wail but also in what you say. Don't ever water it down. Always be you, whatever that looks like from day to day. Enjoy your land, your dogs and your family and friends. You are a special soul and so many people are just happy to hear you put in music what so many of us want to say but can't. Thank you.

I'm 42 and music has always been a huge part of my life but recently i realized i havent even been listening to or interested in any new music for quite a few yrs. 2 days ago I heard you for the 1st time and I keep coming back to YouTube to hear your voice and words, along with hundreds of thousands of other people apparently.... THANK YOU for making me feel again. With tears in my eyes and goosebumps on my skin I sing along with you!

Holy hell, brother. You've got enough quality material right now to record a very good album.

As a 28 year old Brit I can’t relate to all of Oliver’s songs, but I also feel ‘seen’ by every single one of them. Turning me into a country fan with each song I listen to. Top man.

Amen! Just learned of you today from Matt Walsh’s show. You are blessed with stellar talent! Thank you! Praying to our heavenly Father that he continues to grace and protect you as you embark on the ride that many of us are confident you will be taking very shortly. Rock on brother, keep on keeping on, I look forward to hopefully seeing you in concert soon! ❤

Who's Daddy didn't have a Chevy growing up in the 1960s, my Dad's was croaking🐸frog green with🦈fins.
🌹I enjoy these working class country tunes and I can hear the🕊Angels👏🏻applaud everytime I hear Chris sing his country hymn songs.
Keep the🩸blood🦇sucking music $industry$ away from this man, they're all $money grabbers$ and have killed many great gifted musicians.
Chris has proven you don't need anything more than a good honest heart to reach the masses and he's blessed us all with his great hard working man's songs.
