base path isnt established until the first tag attempt and is reestablishe every time he turns around. Not to mention he has up to 3 feet on each side of his base path. Great call by the umps. Anyone saying he's out the base path, I'd like to know what you think his base path is

Had the Mets just finished the play instead of bitching, they would have thrown him out.
WAIT till the play is over then state your case.

That is cool seeing Russell Martin on the Pirates

If missed tagged attempts reestablish the base line, does that mean he could technically run into further into the outfield each time a attempt is made. As long as he's within 3ft per tag attempt.

Important: They still could have gotten him out if Tejada threw to third instead of arguing

i remember watching this game and screaming at the umps, not once, but twice for going out of the baselines!!!! the first one is questionable but cmon, he was on the infield grass, lets be real for a second

It was cool, but the Mets got to the World Series before the Pirates did so no big deal.

Worst part is Tejada assumes he's gonna be called out so he doesn't throw the ball to 3rd. I f he throws to third Harrison is out.
