NEED SPEED? Barry shows you how to replace your stock Club Car Precedent electric golf cart motor with our D and D high speed motor. This motor will take your golf cart to another level, by giving it speed on flat ground, performance out of the hole, and reliability you can expect with D&D. The motor upgrade in this how to video will require a solenoid upgrade (we have a video), a controller upgrade (we have a video), and cable upgrades (we also have a video on this) for proper installation. Please subscribe to our channel for the latest videos on installing popular golf cart parts and accessories. Also check out our website to purchase these components.

I am looking for a smoother ride. Do I replace just the shocks or is it better to replace the existing leaf springs with heavy duty leaf springs with no shock absorbers?

Great channel! quick question- is it easier to remove the back seats etc to
Get to the motor? Or just jack up the back end etc? Looking to swap my stock motor/controller for a high power one. I have 6in lift with 23in tires. I need torque for mud/work things! 2008 CC precedent!
Thank you!

I got a 2007 Club Car Precedent. Put 23x10 14R Wheels and Tires on it with lift. Now hills are impossible. what motor would you recommend to upgrade too? And on the 2007 is there any speed controller change or upgrade needed ?

No test drive? Before and after speed / torque difference?

What Voltage was the motor you swapped out. 36V. Or 48 V. ? Will it work on a 36v motor. ?

Would I need to upgrade anything else when I do this motor swap on my club car

If you upgrade to one of these motors, does the speed code still have to change, let's say to 4?

Is it necessary to upgrade the battery cables to 4 guage when switching to a high speed motor? My new motor seemed to gradually slow and then abruptly stop working for 5 minutes or so and then start working again.

Does this installation also apply to a DS? I just bought a new motor from you guys for my 1999 DS and looking to install this week.

Good video, but when I phoned the company to ask a few clarifying questions the person on the other end had no knowledge and told me to go to the website (which is where my questions originated). A better trained person could have made a sale.

What kind of speed does the new motor produce?

I'm curious what the speed difference is between the stock and Speed motors, and also how Speed Codes 4 or 5 affects the Speed Motor?

Is it possible to remove a motor from underneath the cart without removing the rear body? Working on a 94 Club Car at the moment.

Hey Barry, am interested in this d&d motor for my 2014 precedent. Do you know anything about having to relocate a rear shock mount and how to fabricate. Appreciate any help you have

Hey Barry, Having problems with my 2010 club cart not speeding up, feels like it stays in 1 gear .have replaced the switch under the gas pedal and the solenoid and the resistor, could it be the speed control or the high speed motor magnetic...it will click some time and try to pickup speed but cut back ....im at a stump..any advice ??? thanks

Hi, is there an available AC motor and controller? I would like to improve my solar golf cart by adding regenerative braking.
