Bluesky and lemmy. Bluesky is basically twitter, with a lot of people transferring to it. Meanwhile lemmy isn't used as much but it's way better than reddit.

I wasn't on Twitter much before but I was on Reddit every opportunity I got. This has thankfully been a wakeup call for me. I just quit. Now I'm only on youtube and a couple of boards on 4chan.

I liked tumblr quite a bit, and it is quite nice indeed, but if you want something with more of a twitter, microblogging feel, with the same "no algorithm, only see what you follow" features, I would prefer Mastodon. I have been using it for about a year now, give or take, and if you find a community/instance you like, it's one of the best feelings
