I tend to think the African Greys can understand and communicate . I've seen enough back and forth between owners and their Greys to believe they are able to make jokes and respond to one another.

To be real, ive seen apollo ask for a glass of water, and when given the water he gladly drank it. I feel like they have a level of understanding and communication.

I doubt anyone claiming African Greys don't understand meaning never had one yell, "Go to bed!" then steal the remote, run with it and leave it somewhere behind a collection of giant baskets, run up his ladder, angrily lean over, & peck off the lights.

It fascinates me by seeing these birds talk so well... But it is important to know that some parrots will never talk... My parrot has never spoken a word... I remember someone saying to me that, "What use is a parrot if it can't talk. If it was me, I'd probably sell the bird." and it literally broke my heart because parrots are so much than that...

The very first video showed a parrot that understood questions and could respond with the correct answer. It's been known for over two decades that parents can think and understand human language. Crows have their own language they also named their young. Their language is complex to the point that they can describe someone and other crows who have not met the person will attack them based on the description. Crows are said to be a smart as a 5-year-old. Oh and they can also be taught to say words like a parrot.

I adore and follow most of the birds you’ve shown.❤ Tamara’s Blue Chicken, Kiwi, Gizmo, Apollo… all rightfully amazing. I Don in fact believe Apollo knows what he’s saying and doing- Gizmo holds context conversations, as well. Mine would call the dogs, say his name, & interact, but not on the level of Apollo, or Gizmo. Those owners are just as special as the birds, they love them and keep them enriched.
I’d love you to do a segment about the family that has two Macaws that are free flying, they always come back, they go on walks without a tether. Also, a gentleman here has a Raven, he’s recently made a page if anyone is interested to see how a wild bird coexists with a human, also not captive. Her name is @MissCash her daddy’s name is James.

The grey parrot in this video is called Apolo, the owner has a channel dedidacted to show how he can call things by its name, describe their matireal and also say GLASS a lot
