Dumbass future kids: "how did you reverse park your cars manually dad"? "You mean to say you had to keep looking for parking spaces yourself? Life must have been so hard back then dad".
Us proud dads: "Yes son, life was very harsh back then. When it was hot we had to manually turn a knob on the dash to change the air conditioning temperatures, all by ourselves. Not to mention when changing lanes we had to switch indicators on with our bare hands !!"

My mom had a neck injury and is well on the mend but will not have the mobility she once enjoyed. Coincidentally my father bought her a new 2018 E300 4 Matic which happened to have this feature before her accident.It is now that we realize the full benefits of this feature along with the rear view camera and warning systems.That You Mercedes Benz engineers for a much appreciated feature!

this makes sense if your garage is too small to get out while parked but in dangerous countries like brazil people prefer to wait until garage doors are closed before they egress the car
