The Valkeen is a popular whistle. It is used by many pro referees and it is not just known for its sound, it's known for its price. It's one of the most expensive whistles for all sports but many still buy it because of its reputation. It's very easy to use and vary signals with. You can get loud sound without much effort. However, as you might notice in this video there isn't much difference between the Valkeen and the Dolfin Pro.

The Dolfin Pro is very loud as you can see and hear. It's made for indoor sports such as volleyball but it works well outdoors too. It's very similar to the Valkeen but has a slightly different tone that can be noticed when you hear both whistles. It's significantly cheaper at less than $10 compared to the Valkeen which is usually +$50. The Dolfin Pro can't be overblown, meaning that it will have the same tone even if you use full force. While the Valkeen gets very sharp when you use full force.

Hi! I'm a Swedish referee whose looking to upgrade from my molten dolfin f and I'm choosing between one of these two, which one would you recommend? Most of my collegues have the valkeen and I actually hadn't heard of the dolfin pro before I did som research. From what I can tell from the video they seem similar in volume, but would you agree that the valkeen sounds a bit cleaner, that it has a clearer sound than the dolfin pro? And would you also say that the valkeen feels a bit more premium, for example because of the heavier weight? All help is appreciated!

Hi! So I am looking for a whistle that is ideal for my situation, and I was wondering if you could help me. I'm mainly using the whistle for a crossing guard at a school, but I'd also at times call kids in for recess. What I would need is something really bright, and really loud, and could be heard on a busy street, both residential and commercial. The previous crossing guard had a Sonik Blast, which was really loud, but I was wondering if there was something louder than that. The neighborhood kind of misses hearing the previous crossing guard's sonik blast.
