OSATv TouchLine host, Anthony Totera, interviews Belinde Schettino -- President and Secretary-Treasurer of the Weston Soccer Club, a volunteer-directed, professionally-managed sports organization established in 1998 and dedicated to the development of youth soccer using fair play and fun as developmental principles with the competitive Weston Wolves teams ranging from U9 to Men's divisions playing in the North York Region Soccer League, the Central Soccer League and the Ontario Soccer League -- on her reasons for volunteering as a club administrator; some of the ingredients behind the club's successes such as Vice-President and Technical Director, Adam Pagliaroli and a team of dedicated parents and volunteers; and some of the challenges facing soccer clubs today including the issue of insufficient and substandard fields, the ever-rising costs for city and school board field permits and the issue of poor-quality yet high-priced uniforms and equipment.
