US delegation to head to Taiwan for trade talks

A US delegation will be heading to Taiwan on Jan 14 to continue trade talks, as part of Washington's efforts to reduce its economic dependence on China. The trip marks the second round of in-person talks on the trade initiative. It will also be the first to be held on the island.

Tsai already lost Taiwanese trust in handling the current realationship crisis in Taiwan. Most taiwanese opt for peaceful co existent rather than becoming American proxy on its war against China. America support one China policy, and its obviously helping and selling weapon to Taiwan. See the Civil war in Ukraines from 2014 till 2021, how many people died? Compare it to China Taiwan co existent for the last decades, China and Taiwan even have many beneficial cooperations. If Taiwan want to become American proxy for war, the condition will become like Ukraine in 2014 onwards, there will be many life and resources lost.

This is why Tsai had no support in recent electorial votes, she already resigned as chairwoman of minjindang. But she still is Taiwan president although already lost the mandate from Taiwanese, and i can see many desperate and extreme moves that she kept making.
