There is a reason Azir didn't get picked at MSI by Caps and didn't win Caps against NRG last Worlds. Huge props to SK, they performed well enough to finally force out the flaws of G2 in teamfighting.

I don't get G2.
Shit early games since the start of worlds, then it seems they fixed it for MSI, then LEC starts and they go right back to these abysmal early games.

It is impressive that BB is the most stable and good player in the G2. He's a player who's really showing what progress is. Caps, on the other hand, seem to have ups and downs. He's good at baiting, but there are times when such a play can be poisonous to G2. Mikyx is a supporter, so such bait play has a relatively low risk, but the midlaner is different. Midlaner's bait play requires sophisticated damage calculations, and when he's baiting, his teammates need to understand his intentions of playing.

The high point of the G2 is still the best of the LEC, but their overconfidence often leads to arrogance. Recalling the game, you'll find several such arrogant plays.

The biggest flaw of G2.... is themselves. Only good when it matters. Their ceiling is literally unmatched in LEC, yet they barely touch that ceiling in LEC.

Maybe just maybe G2 is taking it slow ? Less solo less scrims for the moment . Most teams have 2 months to decompress and relax G2 get nothing . So chill lets see how it goes after week 3.

I will say that again, this G2 is only shadow of what it was back in 2019, and this rosted will never acomplish anything on international level.
