A circular waveguide is a hollow metal tube filled with some dielectric with a circular cross-section. It is commonly used to guide electromagnetic waves.
In this video lesson, we will focus on the governing equations of the circular waveguide using Maxwell’s equations. This video lesson covers why electromagnetic waves travel in different propagating modes inside the waveguides, why some modes do not exist in the circular waveguide, and why it acts as a high-pass filter.

a lot of valuable info, but, would be nice to see these applied in ANSYS HFSS, on A 5 part work example series.
