Why would you use a heat tip?
A 20mm tip would be sufficient to braze, a heat tip is better for un-sweating a weld.

I build induction tooling so it is essential to be proficient with 15%, 45, 56 to name the common alloys. There's also brass & copper tig.

Your receiver metal is not hot enough, get that copper almost red hot and then braze, the green flame is a bad sign

You gotta keep the heat on just the right amount, if you get it too hot it'll stick
