Hosted by Nick Cannon, with guest host Niecy Nash and panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, "The Masked Singer" is a top-secret singing competition in which celebrities face off against one another while shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costumes, concealing their identities. With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who the singer is behind the mask. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. Each week, a singer is eliminated -- and then reveals his or her true identity.

I know the costume makers wont see this, but for the mesh so the people can see, try looking up and buying black BUCKRAM or screen for a window (with small enough gaps), it can be painted so people cant see in, but the performers can easily see out, with minimal light glare as your eyes start to ignore the tiny holes in the mesh and it's very breathable!

And if you need to cut down on weight, high density foam is your best friend! It's more comfortable, lightweight, and breathable so more heat can escape! Very smart of you guys to give a balaclava to the performer! Those world like a charm to help reduce the heat!

I feel bad for them.

The costumes need a design upgrade for Season 2. Especially if they're wanting to attract A Listers (imo). It's all about Trial&Error. Great season, though! I would just cut back on the backup vocals, vocal editing, and clues to make it a bit more difficult. Episode 1&2 made it too easy :)

Hopefully I don't even have to mention that the heights shouldn't be given lol (but just in case...)

I'd kill for the Rabbit's costume!! But I know that some of season one contestants will return as a guest performer on season 2

Geez if they put it this way, it's amazing the show the were able to put on with these masks! Like Joey did full blown dance routines! This behind the scenes footage is cool too to see them rehearse with just the masks.

By the way, here's something I always wondered...did their backup dancers know who they were the entire time?

i would assume the singing would sound super muffled in some of the costumes, which makes me think they either prerecord the vocals or there's a mic in the costume

I wonder what they do with the costumes once the singer is eliminated? Like do they send it to the singer or do they reuse them or keep them for some kind of memory hallway

Just for the concern, what if someone wear glasses so they have to take their glasses off and wear mask to compete but I’m afraid they can’t see properly?
