I was 16 when a buddy at the skatepark introduced me to Lucy Ford in the car in 2000-2001 sometime...been a huge fan ever since. It was real easy seeing them in concert too since I'm from the northern suburbs of Minneapolis. From Seventh Street, 1st ave, sound set..House of Blues in Houston, Gainesville, FL....I'm a truck driver now at 39 years old and still go see em if I'm in a city where they happen to be playing when I come through. Still a HUGE Eyedea fan too!

I agree, we Listen and sing to the lyrics and translate them into our own interpretation, sometimes based on our own experiences or state of mind.
Sometimes when i finally watch the music video I tell myself... "I live the video I made in my mind better"
Slug said once before, "I never say what the songs are really about, that up to the listener to interpret what they hear." (Not a direct quote but almost 😅)

After decades listening and analyzing so much this dude wrote just for fun, I appreciate their love of their art so much after all this time… my fav part of live atmos shows still is finding ant in the crowd during the opening acts, you always know he’s out there saying excuse me as he passes by some many that don’t even realize
