I tested the Mathew’s first in January as I had planned to buy the bow as everyone was hyping it up how smooth n great it was. I pulled back felt like I was dragging it though sand not hard just gritty. Another guy was testing the Ethos and I noticed how silent it was next to it so I asked to try it. I walked out that day with a bow I never heard of and love it.

Everyone that shoots an Elite that I know all say the grip is expectational. Some had issues with speeds for lower draw lengths and the old let off adjustment used to rattle but they've fixed that on the newer models. There's not a heap of them but the Elite lovers definitely love their stuff.

That video was exactly my experience with the alaskan xt. I wanted to love it and it did shoot good.... just not for me. I never quite felt like I was in a naturally rhythm. I went front a bowtech cp28 short Ata to the alaskan longer Ata which held really well and then to a pse fortis 30 and instantly I knew that was the bow for me. It makes a huge difference when your gear is perfect for you regardless of others thoughts and opinions.

Tim, I’ve got the Elite Kairos which is the same bow but optimized for my 27.5” draw length. I’ve shot Mathews in the past and I will say the Elite really is a sleeper. I shoot that bow extremely well and it feels so much better with a short draw length than the Mathews did (the Mathews always seemed to dump hard). In any event, welcome to the Elite club! Excited to see more videos about it

Visited Spokane Valley Archery on Saturday. Was there when you called. I hope Josh Jones knows that his personnel is his best asset. Very impressed with the guys. They were friendly, professional and interesting.

I have a couple elites and have noticed tuning to fix a right tear. The cams lean to the right and the bow torques to the right. It makes both bows stabilizers point to the right by an inch at 28 inches during full draw.

You looked the most comfortable today from what I’ve seen from all of your guys videos. I’m a big fan of all Mfjj, Dan and your guys community out there you have helped me so much! Keep grinding and good luck boys!

The Ethos is an awesome bow. I have it in the Midnight Copper color. I love the set technology and the draw length and let off adjustability. Lewis Holmes shot a 900 in Vegas with the Ethos. He is also shooting ASA Known Pro class with his Ethos. I am shooting a 383 grain arrow at 280 fps at 55 lbs draw weight, 30.25" draw length for 3D.

You look so much more comfortable shooting that bow than the Bear you've been shooting. You still have a left/right wobble at full draw from the looks of it, but didn't look like you were fighting the bow like it did with the Bear. Same with the button vs index, no triple tap on the trigger, just a nice smooth follow through.

Great video, keep trying different things until you find the combo that works best for you.

Man, you look so much better with that release. No triple tap dancing around. I love the content. I have a Lift but have had some interesting "dates" with it. When i shoot it good, it's great. But my bad days are a little worse than what im used to as well. I've always really liked the Elite grip a lot. Enjoy it

Great decision! I really think the Ethos is underrated this year. It was funny, before you ever mentioned anything in the video, I said in my head “that bow fits him better than any I’ve seen him shoot”. Good luck and happy “dating”!

DL looks great, not cramped or hyperextended. You aren't searching for your anchor. I love all my Elites. Haven't bought one of the SET bows yet but have tuned a bunch of them. Super easy to setup and get right, it's a great platform.

That’s a big sacrifice to always be shooting different bows but I see why you do it. Thanks for the content Tim.

Elite can really decorate a bow. When I look at one, I see a company that takes great pride in their product. It should serve you well!

I absolutely love my Ethose. So happy to see you giving it some love.

The best all around bow. 1/4 DL adjustments. Also they have 3 module options to choose from. Performance, 75%, Smooth. These options along with the limb stop capability make the feel you want easy to achieve on the back end!

That Elite has 1/4" DL adjustment. I wish all bows had 1/4" DL adjustment.

I'm shooting the Elite Kairos which is the same as the Ethos just has a smaller cam. I also have a Lift 33 and prefer the Elite.

Love my ethos ... awesome shooting bow.... the set technology was awesome for broadhead did add a couple layers of grip tape to give me a mid wrist grip instead of a low wrist grip, and added a side bar.
