My great uncle, Dr. Raymond Carey, was an osteopath and set doctor for MGM studios.
He discovered bee venom therapy at my great aunt’s Mexican hotel. They treated her grandmother with this therapy., he witnessed amazing relief from the pain.

I looked a little into this and read about that certain other bees don't die from stinging tho they seem to use honeybees in the therapy. I'm not quite sure why... when (from what i found) other bees and wasps do produce bee venom. I can understand the need maybe but couldn't this be more humane? I read that some BVT are suggested 3 times a week and the number of bees depends. Seems like that'd add up fast.

For anyone looking into this for arthritis - look into anti inflammatory diets first. For me it was avoiding wheat/ rice/ other grains, milk and high fat proteins except for fish which actually helps.

I’m actually going to Romania to get bee venom injections in a month. I’m starting to get arthritis in my CMC joint. Was going to get PRP injections, but remembered that beekeepers never get arthritis and treatment is very inexpensive. 1 injection is about $13, consult about $25.

Well the only way to see if you are not allergic is to try it, have several friends who do this in a weekly basis .
