Hi from northeastern USA. I’ve never heard that white trousers are tacky, around here well dressed people wear them all the time. I don’t wear white trousers because my hips and thighs are large and I try to visually balance my outfits with light tops and dark bottoms. I wish I felt more comfortable wearing light trousers.

No, white trousers are not at all tacky. Maybe worn too tight with stilettos. As you say it’s how you wear them. I could do with linen ones. Mine are too big too.

I love, love white pants, trousers, jeans, ankle grazers, have a few pairs and wear them all summer. Don't forget that if you are wearing a colored or print blouse and tucking it in, tuck it next to your body, INSIDE your underwear so the color or pattern doesn't show through.

I wear white jeans almost every day. Not a fan of how a lot of shorts fall on me as a petite. Plus they're a good neutral for a summer palette and dressy imo. Some denim washes make me look dumpy. Just stay away from the sausage casing. Mildly relaxed is perfect.

My secret to wearing white trousers is that I don’t wear them. I can’t get out of my home without getting a stain on them. Lol.

I have 2 friends who wear white trousers and look fabulous in them. Now I know they are'skinny folk' and one looks fab in a bin bag.... I am not skinny, rather curvy would love to wear white trousers like them but my choices are usually linen or a 'cool cotton'.... The problems are.... I attract muck, so trousers are black navy, managed to find a nice brown and a nice stone /neutral shade. The next problem is the fact I have lost 2 inches in height.... Used to having longer legs, now shorter legs and a big Then there are styles.... Usually wide legged and not flattering so although what I buy is fashionable I can look like a square box. I do not/can't wear heels....i love watching your channel for hints and tips. I think I may have to resort to the sewing machine to take bulk out of the wide legs or wear 6 inch platforms (which is why I cannot wear heels now... Too many ankle injuries from falling off them!!!) your suggestions keep me sane.. I watch others and think... No not me....

The jeans I keep seeing mentioned everywhere are the Arket Cloud jeans and the Cos Arch jeans. The Arket ones look particularly fabulous. Perhaps you could review or at least try these on?

Run a hot bath, put on your Levis, soak, add bit more hot water, soak... soak till you sick of it, dry & blot as best you can then go lie in the sun or lie by the fire until dry 😊
