Another GREAT Video with Easy to understand explanation. I always like to see the whiteboard in the background. It lets me know I have some education coming my way! Happy Distilling!

Hi George. Thanks for the video. I've been running this exact set up in both reflux and pot modes for a few years now. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Hi George, great to see you again. I'm still using my PID I built from your instructions. Unfortunately I have only 15 amp service at my cabin so I'm stuck using a 1500 watt element. What I've been doing is starting out with propane until 120 degrees, takes no time, then turning the PID on. 1500 watts seems plenty after that to maintain temps.

Thanks for the new content. Loved the pot still for running.

Thanks George, I use my PID in manual mode and control my flow rate by adjusting amperage. I think I must have watched a video or 100 from barley and hops

I use a maize corn big pot with the propane bqq to cook party maize corn. And use the heating floor with the pump in my garage that is colant circulating without the burner on, work just fine .

7:00 an additional note…using ice cold water can create a bit of a mess if you’re distilling indoors or where it’s warmer. Your lines will start to sweat profusely….i mean it’ll really starts pouring some water. Just keep that in mind.

Great video as always George! I've been trying to work on heating and energy calculations myself, so appreciate the little notes on that portion!
