Tibia Beginner Guide | Dawnport, Vocations, Starting Towns & More!

Believe it or not, the 999 door hype brought a lot of new faces to Tibia. I made this video in the hopes of helping new players get a general idea of what Tibia is, where to go, what to be, etc. Hopefully this helps anyone out there new to the game. Enjoy!

As a Brazillian I've always seen lots of my friends being really into this game but always found it intimidating to get into, especially since I was already playing some more beginnner friendly mmos.

Now I've finally decided to give it a try over a decade lately and your material really helped me get started.

I scrapped this video at least 3 times before finally settling on this. I know it’s still kind of long, but I wanted to make sure I at least explained the basics in addition to some fun stuff in Tibia without going into TOO much detail (first video had 6 minutes of just explaining the options menu lol). Hope this helps any of you new players or anyone looking to get a friend into Tibia!

Things you should always carry on you:
Backpack (duh)
Shovel
Rope
Fishing Rod/worms or meat
Potions (mana and health)
Optional:
Machete (if you start in venore)
Pick (if you hunt dwarfs)
A low level weapon to train you melee skill (knights and paladins)

Whenever I'm making a mage on Dawnport I like to walk through the Knight gate throw the shield on the ground. Walk through the corresponding mage gate then go pick the shield up and throw the spell book down. Shield has higher defense and usually keeps me from having to run even from large groups of enemies with just casting Exura Infir to heal up.

Erik, can we get a new video like this that takes into account all the new stuff like rewards, beast, prey, etc and maybe touch upon difference between new/old server. I think this will help a lot with players who are starting out/returning to the new worlds. Thank you and appreciate all of your content!
