Germany built Auschwitz-Birkenau with four murder facilities that includes undressing rooms, Gas Chambers and Crematoriums , (in addition to Auschwitz I which had one Gas Chamber and Crematorium ).
Auschwitz camps were designed as a concentration (for ~25% of incoming) and a murder site (for 75% of Jews upon arrival) so was Majdanek.

There were others facilities in Poland which severed the Germans only as murder camps or the so called extermination camps.
More than two million Jews were sent to Bełżec, Sobibór, Treblinka Chełmno extermination camps during World War Two and were immediately murdered in the by Gas. Those sites where destroyed after there were no more Jews to be murdered.
