F1 22 Review

"With its typically deep and rich career mode and its usual class-leading spectrum of assists and difficulty options, F1 22 maintains this series' run as the most fully-featured and accessible reproduction of a single modern motorsport on the market - and long-awaited tweaks to some of its most reused elements haven't gone unnoticed, either. It's not quite as bold as F1 2021, though, and the footwear-and-furniture-focussed F1 Life mode really isn't a patch to cover the lack of last year's ambitious story mode."

Would rather see old cars and classic tracks. It would be cool to be able to do a season with the 2012 cars or one from the 70’s.

Can't help but think supercars is an absolute wasted opportunity. Personally? I'd have had F3 in there.

Agree they need to bring back classic cars

What if they made it as a Teleportation Simulator where the player would go in a room in his house and there is this simulator and he would be able to teleport in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s taking on the likes of Senna, Schumacher / rewriting some historical moments instead of this Supercars? You would be able to relive some of the rivalries and feel the vibe of those times.

If they added historic cars / tracks/ races it would completely transform the experience.

The wheel spin is very dangerous this year. Coming out of corners is hard, especially with no assists on.

kudos for the “rims real big, pockets real big” - sense of nostalgia from Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition, and this song (real big - mannie fresh) is great

They overdid it with the sunglasses and caps. The game looks like a Grand Theft Auto online lobby.

Once again IGN overrates a game, let’s be honest the F1 games needs a serious overhaul and a new graphics and physics engine. Classic EA ofcourse just same recycled crap since years.

As the key with any racing game is to turn off the in game music, use a seperate bluetooth speaker and blast your own music while racing while the game has the SFX on.... bliss
