it is actually incorrect to call the days " nahual". Those are day names and each day has a nahual. But the days themselves are not Nahuales. Those day glifs didn't even exist in the highland region. They were not in use in the Kiche area. So using the glifs and calling them nahual is something new. This is all new age stuff. The word nahual is not properly uses here. Again Nahual is a spirit guide each day has one but the days are not nahuales.
