Automatically creating Powerpoint slides from Excel without coding using SlideFab 2

Показать описание
This video demonstrates how to set up a simple "Hello World" Excel workbook and presentation with SlideFab 2. It contains the most simple case where a formula-based text from Excel is multiple times written to a shape in a Powerpoint presentation.
Typically, when automatically creating Powerpoint slides through Excel, a lot of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code needs to be written. Indeed, there are lots of code fragments available on the web. However, this typically leads to one-time solutions as the code cannot be used flexibly with different Excel models. Even small changes in the workbook lead to changes in the VBA code most likely. When things become more complex, the amount of time invested into writing some automation code rises tremendously.
SlideFab allows the ordinary Excel user to automatically create Powerpoint slides without coding a single line. SlideFab is highly flexible and powerful allowing different kinds of automation.
- Text: SlideFab can write texts into shapes, even with conditional formatting
- Tables: SlideFab can automatically fill data from Excel into tables and apply conditional formatting as well
- Powerpoint Charts: SlideFab can update the data ranges in Powerpoint charts from Excel
- Excel Charts and shapes. SlideFab can automatically copy charts from Excel to Powerpoint
- Image files: SlideFab can automatically put image files on Powerpoint slides
- Screenshots: SlideFab can take screenshots from Excel into Powerpoint slides
The automation SlideFab allows to create dozens of slides automatically. Excel users can easily run their own loops to manifold their existing presentation template.
