What a compliment to be called “safe” by a woman. I know very few men that are “safe” to be around. You can tell 100% that you can count on them not to try anything or hurt you. These are people that you can be yourself around. You don’t have to be careful with the way you talk, dress or drink. These men have good morals and they will always respect you regardless.

A lot of guys in the comments think she means "safe" as in boring and tame and that is NOT that she means. She means "safe" as in a guy who will respect you and treat you right, a guy who isn't dangerous towards women, a guy who will protect you, a guy who doesn't hurt others for selfish reasons, a guy who is a great friend and companion, a guy you can trust. That is safe. Every single one of us should be safe.

I told my husband that before him, I had a restless soul and a storm in my heart and mind. Always anxious and depressed, for no reason. Then he comes along and I’ve never felt more safe and secure in my life.
