I wish the Sims added a trait with every age - like 3 as young adult, 4 as an adult, and then 5 as an elder. Bc you gain more and more as you age and I’d love for the Sim to be able to change/grow over time

Once she is back on the grid it simply needs to have Christmas lights on all of the time!! My first thought was also small town vet, so fingers crossed someone makes one <3

Her name sounds like her mom loved Christmas and named her for it lol. Could also explain why she turns around to embrace it later in the story, it's a connection to her mom she's missed deep down under the hurt that ruined the holiday for her. The more the town smacks her with Christmas cheer the more her mom's memory gets bigger than her cheating ex and thawes her heart out.

For repairs and especially walls, she may need the help of the hot local single father, whose daughter happens to loooove baking and christmas. I mean, Hallmark christmas aint a hallmark christmas without the kids' holiday spirit ;)

Like she inherited the old family home... and being a business woman she decides to flip and sell the old family home only to find the charm in the small town life and of course her life partner.

There’s a mod that gives you extra traits. Miss Lollipop uses it in her lets plays. It also gives new traits to choose from I believe.

I came too late to see your livestream of this, darn it, lol. I would have suggested for a restoration-to-riches challenge that she buy the old lighthouse (unfurnished and no longer a museum, of course) and see if she could make it into an actual house. Can you imagine how Christmas-sy and gorgeous it would look at the lighthouse over the ocean?? I've made it into a house before, and it's a breathtaking location. Plus, IRL people renovate old buildings like that, which are no longer being used for their intended purpose, and make them into liveable houses. Awww, dang, I would have made that suggestion. :p All you have to do is change it to Residential instead of Museum.

Brindleton Bay, however, is the perfect choice for the small town.

OMG, KELSEY! First you kick the Delgatos out of their huge house in the middle of winter, and NOW you want to steal their dog Blue, too?!? I'm not so sure this is a Hallmark Christmas plot so much as an evil villain origin story, LMAO! (Blue shows as a stray because the Delgatos are now....homeless.)

Though her meeting all the strays makes me think she should meet and fall in love with the small-town veterinarian!

Okay but this girl reminded me of a Hallmark movie (Ik Ik hold your judgement for a minute) but there’s a movie called Snow Bride and it’s this girl who’s trying to be the top reporter of this celebrity gossip magazine and she has to this hit story on a wealthy family but her car gets stuck in a snow storm. Her only way of staying warm is wearing her friend’s wedding dress then the son of that wealthy family finds her and rescues her from the snow storm. Then they start a “fake relationship” because his family caught him with her. It sounds messy and weird but if y’all watch that movie it is the best. Worth the cheesiness🤣

And totally agree, just because a girl likes nice things doesn't mean she's automatically a snob. That's the only caveat of the Hallmark Movie franchise I'm not a fan of: the city girl is either the love rival who doesn't get a happy ending, or she's the lead, but abandons all 'baddienest' by the end of the story and has her preferences changed completely in the storyline.

Kelsey, you've got it wrong. Over here, Christmas is always in the SUMMER. We've never had a Christmas where you need more than a cardigan. At best, it's too hot to go outside. At worst, it's rainy but still T-shirt and shorts weather. I like midsummer Christmases, and it carries on all through to my birthday at the end of January and often doesn't cool until well into March. Sometimes it's still warm at the start of May.
