When I was a student pilot back in the late 70’s, I experienced my door popping open at 4, 000 ft. It was like a car door type, and I couldn’t push it open far enough to slam it shut due to air resistance. My instructor put the aircraft into a partial stall, so I could open and close it properly. Great view when it was fully open.

No matter how well informed you may think you are, but you CANNOT have freezing temperatures as you stated. Temperature is a numerical measurement of available heat. You can have FREEZING CONDITIONS, brought about by LOW TEMPERATURES, but unless you have managed to rewrite the laws of thermodynamics and physics, you cannot mix the two as are completely different definitions. I was sitting on my porch One night and Saw 1 plane at a higher level &a smaller airplane beneath the biggest plane so you get a sense of how close airplanes are to one another.

Regarding the lady with the hair…it was kind of childish for the woman behind her to put gum and such in her hair. What she should have done is make the lady aware of the situation if she hadn’t…then let her know that her hair was covering her screen and ask her kindly to not to flip it back. 🤷‍♀️ If she ask her nicely to stop to no avail…then ask the stewardess to speak with her. If that failed…maybe then ask to be moved. Some people are just rude…🤦🏼‍♀️
