Kitchen Cabinet Install - 50x70 Garage House

Today I finally install upper wall cabinets in my kitchen! This is a massive improvement to the look and functionality of the living space, let me know what you think!

Just a tip for the future. When installing the cabinets, you can mount 2 together or 3 on the floor then when mounting to the wall you can mount on the top edge and bottom edge to hide any screws. Its also good practice to measure then mark your stud points on the bottom and top of each cabinet. You can then pre-drill and start each screw. You dont need a ton of screws. A few 3" screws are plenty. This will make installing much easier. You can also cut peices of wood to make legs to allow you to hold it up easier. I install these daily 🤣 I also see that you have 3-way adjustable hinges, this will allow you to adjust the height & spacing of each door. Each screw moves the door a certain way.

Turned out great, consider some glass shelf's in the middle there, or even some pot hangers, something to add some character to that empty spot. Nice craftsmanship!!

A random kitchen tip my mom uses to make the location of the trash obvious to people visiting is to hang a hand drying towel on the trash handle.
Then when people ask “where’s the trash?” You just say where the towel is.

Nice job. I've been watching your build videos all day instead of doing "real work" (I translate car service manuals from Japanese). Bit of advice: Under Cabinet lighting is a blessing, easy to put in and REALLY cheap. 110v RGB LED strips are dirt cheap on Ebay, about $4 for 16ft, take up practically no space and use almost no power. Arrange it however you like, one 16ft strip per cabinet would be more than enough light for anything. Tuck the wiring up through the back of each cabinet to give it power from the microwave outlet, then stick the remote anywhere convenient.

Would be good on the loft stairway too, so you can watch your step ;)

Dont know if someone mentioned it before, havent found a comment saying what im about to say. But some glass shelving between the two cabinets above the sink would give you some extra space. Or maybe a cool welding video with some mesh offcuts. Something light would pass through. Just a thought. Like the content you bring out. Keep healthy! Regards from Belgium.

Cabinets look awesome, I was thinking over the sink you could do a flat mirror to the wall and get some trim wood and glue a fake window seal around it and everything maybe hang some kind of contemporary looking curtains and make it look like a faux window
