I would also challenge any wedding cinematographer to leave the slow motion off for almost the entire wedding. I only shoot slow motion on very specific moments. I really noticed a difference and how powerful 24 frames actually is. Also, it makes the shots that are slow motion more special.

Investing in some windguide for my Rode NTG4 so i can get better audio. Got booked for a paid wedding in Spain with my brother who is a photographer (included with flight, transfer and hotel) so im going to use these tips.

i think it's important to emphasize that Justin isn't saying that wedding vows and speeches are inauthentic and boring. we all know how powerful vulnerable speeches and intimate vows can be, it's part of why people look forward to going to weddings in the first place. i think he's just found a way to capture EVEN MORE authentic dialogue that can be added to wedding films in a way that really elevates the story. it's not either/or, just more tools for the storyteller. keep pushing/innovating my friend:)

My question is how do you deal with photographers or you have team of photographers in the company. How do you handle photographers that the couple booked from other vendors. I'm a solo shooter and I don't get along with photographers sometimes because they rushing everything and do not give me enough time to apply my creativity.
