I found out about Alan Mor from Long Awaited Journey, absolutely insane;

But this... This is absolutely the most creative and cohesive album I've heard this year. Amazing, amazing;

We've gotten so many goodies this year album wise, I'm here for it

Nice review, very good record. Love how the tracks flow together to create one cohesive experience.

I discovered this album through Flame Devourer, and thought the song sounded really sick. I would only listen to the rest of the album a few weeks later, and at first I was enjoying it mildly, but the entire album grew on me the more I listened to it.

This is the only album that I've ever listened in my entire life where I listen through the whole thing without skipping tracks. In any other album, I would just occasionally pick my favorites and ignore the rest, and this also includes Long Awaited Journey.
I can't do that with Lands of Delight. Everything is just fantastic, with Flame Devourer being my least favorite track in the album, ironically enough (although I still love it).

My favorite tracks of the album are Echoes Follow because of its dark melody and rhythm, Neolithic Fantasies which sounds like an ancient dance or ritual, and Prosperity of All Humankind for being emotionally shattering and making me breaking down in tears several times.

There is nothing like this album, and honestly, I don't think like there will ever be.

Ok I listened: strong 9/10. I don't think its a 10 because for me above a 9 needs to have hit me emotionally, and this album doesn't do that, it just sounds sick. The drop thing in Flame Devourer made me wet my pants and I practically had an eargasm. Thanks for the recommendation or I would never have known this existed.

have you listened to Deliverance by Culprate?? in my eyes, it’s in the same wheelhouse as this album and Headspaces, and it is equally MIND BLOWING. Similar to Lands of Delight, Deliverance evokes endlessly dark and oppressive emotions while also exploring some unique experimental electronic textures. Deliverance differs from Lands of Delight in that it has more complicated and heavy percussion grooves and is more on the glitchy side, which complements the horrific mood very well in my opinion. Since you love Alon Mor I feel like you would love Deliverance!!!

This album is absolutely insane. I loved Long Awaited Journey to death, and this is on par with it, if not even better. 10/10 AOTY would listen again.

wow I literally just tweeted about this album like an hour before you uploaded this lol
personally I still prefer Long Awaited Journey, this project may be more cohesive and flow together a lot more seamlessly (and I appreciate the lack of narration lol) but I liked more how each track on LAJ felt much more well defined and had more of an identity while still coming together pretty seamlessly, and I liked the more ambitious length of that one while this one felt like it was over almost too quickly (despite fitting so much interesting content in)
admittedly don't think I have enough to say on this album myself for a proper video, probably gonna stick it in the next Some Stuff I Missed, but I do definitely think it is great and agree everyone here ought to give it a listen

Very interesting review! I've watched it till the end and I must say I agree with everything you're saying! The only thing, 10/10 doesn't leave any place for improvement for the next release this master's gonna come up with. We'll have to give it an 11/10...

Definitely fell in love with Alon Mor after listening to Presudeos. Had some of the vibes from the Polychrome album by KOAN Sound, which came out a year later!
I first listened to Long Awaited Journey and Lands of Delight after releasing my own album, and the way Alon Mor produces reminded me a bit of the way me and my friend do it as Groove Genies.

I would love if you could make a review or give feedback to our album, Exoplanetarium
I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you!

i love how you compared it to YWGWYW! it's my #1 favorite album with Lands of Delight as a close second! It's the most incredible piece of art I've ever experienced.

Love the album it's astonishing! Especially Flame Devourer imo!
On another note, haven't tried to pronounce his name before this video...
Now I can't un-hear "a lawn mower" and feel kinda mean because of it ._.

Have you checked out Canopy by Spoonbill? It's the only one album that can compete with Lands of Delight this year...
