My time in Eastern Turkey slowly approaches the end! This video is about my scenic bus ride and the beautiful village life in extreme far east of Turkey! I took a bus from Mardin and left for Ramazankent, a village just on the Turkey-Armenia border devided by the famous Aras river. The bus was slow but it was a scenic ride! Eastern Turkey is home to the Kurdish whereas it's overall less visited but still amazingly beautiful. Ramazankent is located on the foot of mount Ararat, the highest mountain of Turkey as well as the national Symbol of Armenia.

Opposite side of the Ararat mountain is my homeland. Really nice to see you visiting these lands and interacting with it's people and culture 😊

I am amazed that you would hitchhike in a country that you don't speak the language, to an area that is warned against traveling to by foreigners. Your video is very informative and exciting!

Turkish dried apricots are the best in the world. And Turkish bread is so yummy 😋🌸 we can buy both products in my country NewZealand 😊🌸 But most of what we import comes from your country China 😁🌸

Some of these Turkish people came to Washington State in USA where they set up a kitchen making wonderful apricot & apple candy. It is a premium "Turkish Delight" called Aplets & Cotlets. Located in Lake Chelan, a small town on a large, beautiful mountain lake. My favorite candy!
