Originally the Blacktop vvl engine SR20ve (Max:7500rpm) comes out of the Japanese Model: P11/ primera offered with 6speed CVT transmission or 5 speed manual. The Blue top VVL sr16ve ( Max:8500rpm) comes out of the Model:JN15/ Nissan VZR Pulsar which is the RXI 20v rival model overseas exceptthe sr16ve pushes out 129kw standard. So this VVL engine should feel at "home" in a Primera. The Name "Sentra" was used by the South African, America and Mexican Markets. The STI Badge was only used by South african Market not sure why as this badge was used. STI was more well know by Subaru, meaning Subaru Technica International. All the Sentras are known as Pulsars everywhere else around the world. In Austailia and New Zealand the Sentra 200sti is known as the Pulsar SSS and the sabre being the popular choice. All Pulsar VZRs came standard with lsd close ratio transmissions as the car revs at 3100rpm at 100kmph, I had one. Best to have an lsd on a VVL, never lose traction in the dry 1st gear is very short you can hardly keep it in 1st gear when you accellerate. Primeras handle better.

My dad has a 2.0 p11 gt with sr20deh. Im proud of it because its the only one in my country that has a carbon dashboard and the, ,high output engine'' badge( my dad told me its preety rare )

The sentra 200sti has the old spec and the face lift model that has abs brakes, different motors, sabre 200Gxi has only one spec, primera 200sti is slower because of the body weight, vvl motors are imported, the best is a vvl motor in a sabre because it's the lightest model
