AGT Judges Reactions - Maya Neelakantan (Master Of Puppets)

Seeing standing ovations from the Judges and Audience is a vision I still clearly remember from that day! And I see Terry Crews so excited walking towards me and he was so happy after hearing what I played! The audience were so loud and I had this great feeling of adrenaline and was so happy I could play it perfectly and now I can enjoy the ending. It was incredible to hear the kindest words from the judges that will forever be an honor since I got to hear these from them! This will always be in my heart and helps me even more to stay motivated in my journey. Thank you all so much for your love and support!

Maya is supremely talented and the clarity of thought and articulation is far beyond her age! Great smile too. God bless the little girl. Kudos to her parents who have encouraged her to pursue what she loves doing. People from the metal fraternity have been very kind and supportive too. Most people who play heavy metal are immensely talented, nerds, and multifaceted.

Maya needs to be aware of the pitfalls and distractions too. She could be a great ambassador for this genre by being a normal person who enjoys the music - it is not necessary to appear as a weirdo, do drugs, or consume alcohol. A girl child ambassador for Metal - Wow!!

It is important to lean on Carnatic music to ensure she remains grounded in deep traditional, spiritual, and devotional values of S.India. Her parents and gurus have a great role to play in nurturing her and ensure she remains grounded. God bless!
