Weirdest Galaxy in the Universe: Hoag's Object #space #NASA #universe

This is hands down the oddest, weirdest galaxy in the Universe. NASA is still observing the galaxy and learning more over time, but there's still so much to learn.

The "smaller" galaxy isn't actually apart of this one, but a more distant object that can be seen through it. Maybe something you should have admitted to in this short.

Hoag’s Object is cool enough by itself you don’t have to add a galaxy that isn’t actually orbiting in the gap…. That would make “mini Hoag” the smallest galaxy ever lol. But no it’s much further away that’s why it appears so small…

That looks like an optical illusion, and the smaller ring galaxy is in the background. Crazy awesome position though.

That smaller galaxy is likely just in the angle of the photo and is out beyond it from this perspective.
Otherwise the rest of the matter would've already been found to be exhibiting forces on it.

I don't go looking for galaxy information but I have seen that ring galaxy sunny side egg looking mama many times bur no media has ever explained it before now. Thank you.

There are so many weird galaxy's in this universe, that the Milky Way galaxy's spiral shape, is weirdest of them all!

that smaller galaxy isn't actually a part of Hoag's Object. It's actually a different galaxy that's way farther away that can just be seen through Hoag's Object.

Amazing how different they are in size and how it hasn't settled/combined with the bigger galaxies!! This seems hard to believe but alright learned something new
