It's simple, instead of paying 558, 248 pounds, you've put down a deposit of 140, 150 pounds and will ultimately pay for the car 629, 440 pounds, which is around 71, 000 pounds more. Question is, can you invest/put to work/etc. what you saved - around 418, 000 (minus 4, 000 every month) in two years and turn 71, 000 profit? If yes - then worth the finance, if no - then not worth.
P.S. I don't know how simpler I could have explained it, but since everyone commenting has missed my point - my comment is whether it is worth financing the car or buying it outright with cold hard cash (or bank transfer, realistically)
