NEW BMW G20 vs OLD BMW E36 MOOSE TEST

I have owned two E36s (one back in the day, and one run as a classic more recently) and spent a day in the new G20 last week. Aside from this moose test, I can report that the E36 is massively superior to drive. The G20 took 1.5 seconds to respond to a throttle input (yes, really - I filmed it and measured later three times, then took the average of my measurements) and had horrendous artificial feeling steering. The ride and handling of the M Sport G20 I had was better than the F30 SE, which made me car sick. Generally though, things have gone hugely downhill.
