Plot:
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, though he's unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is a 2018 fantasy film directed by David Yates and written by J. K. Rowling. A joint British and American production, it is the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). It is the second installment in the Fantastic Beasts film series, and the tenth overall in the Wizarding Worldfranchise, which began with the Harry Potter film series. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp.

The plot follows Newt Scamander and Albus Dumbledore as they attempt to take down the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, while facing new threats in a more divided wizarding world.

I like in this scene Grindlewald has already escaped. The scene just shows how loyal he is to his followers and how badass he is.

I really love how Grindelwald will actually go out of his way to save one of his followers if he can, you just know Voldemort would’ve flung everyone including his guy out of that cart, just saved the item he wanted and bounced. It makes you understand why so many follow him, it’s not just out of fear but also love and respect.

I love that he could have abandoned his henchman and escaped on his own in the beginning, but he chose to make a daring rescue of his followers. No wonder he is feared and inspires other wizards to follow him.

carriage to unmanned vehicle.

disintegrates their wands.
* Manipulates lightning with wandwork and
shoots bolts at aurors in pursuit.

Most powerful dark wizard or not, Grindelwald's fight iq and situational awareness is unparalleled.

Point worth noting, unlike Voldemort or other dark wizards/witches, Grindelwald apparates with a flash of white light instead of dark.
