Great tip but there's a cheaper and more effective way. I'm a painting contractor and I have 4 commercial pressure washers. RV antifreeze is a anti rust solution for keeping the water pumps from rusting during storage. That is what I have used for 30 years and it comes in a gallon. All I do is attach a 2 ft. Garden hose to the inlet and stick the other end into the gallon of antifreeze, then start the pressure washer and cycle the fluid threw the pump for about 10 seconds and shut it down. It's never failed me and a gallon costs about the same.

if im planning on using the pressure washer nearly every day of the week should I still do this at the end of every day or only when I take a break of using it?

Thank you for the video, do you plug up the inlet and the outlet afterwards?

Is this exercise designed to clean out debris after storing your washer or is it used more to prevent water from freezing in your machine over the Winter?...seeing that you live in sunny Florida, I'm assuming it to be the former...thanks Al, was just the methodology that I was looking for, John

Good tip. An even easier product to use is STA-BIL pump protector. It connects to the pump inlet and is pressurized, so you just press the button on the can until it sprays out the pump outlet. You get about 3 uses out of one can.

After completing your washing of driveway and walk way, be sure to seal them. Home Depot has the seal you need. Lasts me several years. 👍👍👍

I'm pretty sure that little bottle with green liquid is just standard RV radiator fluid for your camper's water lines when you store it. You can use the "soap hose" to draw it into the pressure washer from a bucket.

Great video. They say these electric pressure washers need oil in the pump. Is that true? If so where and how do I put the oil in??

Hey, I was wondering what fuel and oil to use.(specific brands, types etc..) I just purchased a Ryobi 3300 psi 2.5GPM (4c) pressure wash and I am completely new to this and I want to make sure I use the right things so nothing breaks. Also, should i buy lubricant and apply it if I am going to constantly run my machine about everyday. How often should I change the fuel and oil and when will I know when to. Sorry for all of these questions, just a young entrepreneur trying to start a new business :) thanks.

I have all quick connections. Makes this easier

There are "quick connectors" available for both garden hose and pressure washer hose connections....well worth the cost vs. time saved.

A tiny bit of lithium grease on hose threads and silicone grease on the rubber o-rings makes attaching & removing hoses insanely easy.
