I saw Babs in Funny Girl when the show was in Philadelphia then sat next to her and her husband in a Ho-Jos' on the Pa. turnpike, , wow, I felt so lucky !!

The thing is that Barbra, although a stage actress first, as far as music, she was really a jazz inspired artist, and she didn't like to be tied down to singing something exactly the same way every night. That's why her concerts and club gigs were more comfortable. She could change it up.

Ms. Streisand was not LIP SYNCING NOR ANY AUTOTUNES (it wasn't invented yet) to give her voice a break like there is now for so-called "talented" superstars who fans pay $100 and up for a concert ticket.
