This convinced me we need Coheed: The Musical.

As a father with an autistic son... This song means so much to me already. These lyrics really hit home for me. Thank you Coheed, for a beatiful tribute to our beatiful and unique children.

Words can’t even begin to describe my feelings towards this song. Incredible.

This entire album absolutely OWNS. Every song is so laser-focused, doesn't overstay its welcome, leaves you wanting more. Banger after banger, over and over again, until we land here - where they UNLEASH. I can't stop listening to the whole thing. It might be my favourite album of theirs, TEN ALBUMS in. They are unstoppable.

This is straight up musical theater. The absolute best song on this album and is fighting hard for my favorite Coheed song of all time. Unbelievable

This song hits hard but the last 3 minutes of the song really gets me teary eyed. After all it's ok to cry 🥹

"My boy, it's okay to cry".
Yeah that's totally... not.... what I'm doing... every time I listen to this song... >.>

That transition from “Shine your love on all this crazy, oh…” to the “Who says you gotta wish to get older…” section is so powerful. I also love “I’ll be watching you, armed to the teeth / Don’t you go poking while the lion, he sleeps.” Such a gorgeous example of parental love and protectiveness.

I was sitting here listening to this song thinking that "the moment" hadn't happened yet on this album. You know the one. The moment when the music sets you back in your seat. The last breath of air as the earth comes trembling down. Mother superior. Caged, locked in perpetual motion.

And it turns out they saved all that magic for this song. Just about moved me to tears. Love this band

I will always keep saying this, Coheed and Cambria saved me to no commit suicide in the most darkest hours that I lived added to the fact to get my third child, my beloved Lilith, both gave the enough strength to fight against all the evil that was covering my soul at that time and here I am now listening and living the best time that I ever had!

It's lovely to see how marriage and fatherhood developed Claudio's lyrical style.

I'm in tears. My son attempted suicide a few days ago. We love coheed and this song makes me think of him. God please let him be ok. Thank you for making such incredibly moving music for so many years now. It's gotten me through a lot. Thank you

That last reprise of Old Flames with the orchestra is just perfect

I love these types of space-opera songs by Coheed - look at all the different themes in one song!

0:00 - beautiful opening
2:05 - Vaxis epicly talking about his parents and his journey
2:30 - Claudio telling a scary story around a campfire
3:16 - Vaxis, are you there?
3:40 - Claudio continuing campfire story
4:03 - Everyone together now
4:32 - Vaxis can you hear me?
5:00 - What's
5:27 - Claudio speaking beautiful words to his son (my favorite part)
6:35 - Rocking exposition
7:32 - beautiful closing

All of the callbacks to Old Flames in this album are just so moving. Goosebumps every. Single. Time.
What an album. What a masterpiece of music.

Lyrics like these hit so hard after having children of your own. It's hard to describe. The first time I heard it, I was working out and starting crying in the middle of the gym. Lmao. Such an amazing song and album.

That bass line walkdown from 5:54 into "but life get's tough" is magical. The way it continues from there onward is absolutely captivating and the last section is beautiful. Took a few listens for this one to get to me but it's close to being my favorite on the album now.

I got the good kind of whiplash from all the directions this song goes in. Its probably one of the most experimental songs they've done and its awesome.

What a conclusion to an astonishing album! A base of C&C, with notes of an operatic show, a dash of Porcupine Tree, hints of Dream Theater, uproars of A7X, but a totally unique outcome. This and 'Shoulders' are my favourite songs to listen to right now.

2:30 is amazing. Maybe the best lyrical breakdown in Coheed's entire discography. The only other ones close are the ending of Gravity's Union and "And she screamed 'Claudio'"
