The Volvo Power Operated Programmable Tailgate Option is available on 2010 XC60,XC90,V90 and XC40
One of the features of the power operated tailgate is you can program the height that the hatch opens to. Just follow the instructions below to customize the height:
Lift the latch and as the tailgate pops open, quickly push the latch again and release it. Doing this puts the tailgate into manual mode
Open the tailgate to the height you would like it set at
Press and hold the closing button on the tailgate for three seconds
Press the button again to close the tailgate
The next time you open the tailgate using your remote or the button on the dashboard, it will stop at the height you programmed.
