Now I’ve seen a lot of horror game creatures and looked closely at how they work and why they are so good at scaring

And in this exploration I’ve noticed a sort of common trend that’s “twitchy movement”

Notably can be seen in games like

Deadspace 1 & 3
joy of creation

This movement is by design obviously meant to be unnerving at first glance but in my experience after a bit it quickly loses its scare factor for whatever creature it’s used with

That being said, the incredibly, **perfectly** fluid animation of this… “thing”.. it is on a whole different level of unnerving

It legitimately looks and moves like it’s actually alive and so unpredictable that it can and will do *literally* anything and that is genuinely f$$king terrifying

And I love everything about it
This looks so promising to be the next great horror game

I am confident in my assessment that NOTHING poppy playtime can offer from here on out, can compare to the sheer atmosphere of the first chapter. The dark night, moonlight pouring over huggy's stiff frame, only to see he's gone- seeing him throughout the environment, the way he never talks, feeling like an animal, but an intelligent one, only tied together even further by him bleeding and screeching.

Mommy had her moments, but nah. Huggy is def. scarier.

Like in every other horror game or movie that revolves around evil toys, they try to make them look a horrifying as possible. To the point where I'm like "WHY WOULD THE KIDS IN THIS LORE HAVE THIS???" But like. I could seriously see a kid playing with a toy like Huggy
