I asked Terraonion directly if you need an action replay to play import on the Saturn with the MODE. Terraonion confirmed that you do not need the action replay. THANK GOD, because the cartridge slot on the Saturn can give you a hard time making a proper connection. Sidenote: Games will still play at whatever frequency your console is set to (50 or 60Hz). I've owned a Phoebe GDEMU for some years now and i love it. But the cart slot can sometimes make it hard to get it running import. So I bought the MODE, can't wait!

Your Raspberry Pi content came at the right time since I decided this week to try to get my my retropi setup to work on my PVM since the 4:3 LCD monitor is currently in my daughters room for them to watch DVD's+VHS tapes on (normally we don't allow TV's in their rooms, but since they are stuck at home, we are making a exception.)


I primarily use it for arcade games and the occasional curiosity testing with console games if I want to try something I hear about.

A cool feature for the smart scale is that most hd crts are 540p meaning you can have a perfect vita crt setup.

The Pi video was VERY appreciated. It left me wondering what systems are supported by the Pi vs. the MiSTer. Of course that'd be better handled in a separate video or chart. I can't honestly think of anything to add that wouldn't be beyond the neat scope of the video, but I'll keep thinking on it.

Also love seeing giveaways again and am happy for another way to promote the Roundup.

Thank you for the roundup. Im the same with raspberry for arcade only, but I suspect I might start collecting some PCBs also :P Already got MVS and PGM, so those I avoid to emulate. However pi is nice for a secondary console play setup in some cases

I don't understand why Sharpscale doesn't cut the top and bottom 4 pixels like regular tvs do. I guess 8 pixels at 1088 is quite miniscule.
