THIS is what it means to be human. To fight. To have a voice.

It’s not a disruption. It’s a form of communication.

Our government is making poor decisions and not addressing the real problems in New Zealand
- Highest unemployment
- Highest migration of kiwis to Australia
- Highest rents
- Highest costs of living
- De-funding social programs for working families.
- Investing in roads with tolls
When a bill is passed and the leader benefits personally from that bill, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. New Zealand is one of the least corrupt countries in the world..

Calling this cringe or disruption is just another way to express the fact that you have closed mind.

The colonists must respect the Maori rights

Keep fighting the colonists and their requirements to "behave" and do things the way they think should be done.

Shame on these people who are interested to take over their lands.. coz now they want equal rights to take over the land of their ancestors.

The way she tore that bill up and threw it in their faces is a BOSS move. A new generation of activists was born in that moment.

Imagine people doing this in a public library.

People who are making fun of the lady deserve to be laughed at too when they are being wronged

I guess they will find somone to blame even then
Some people are just shameless and dont care about somone else culture

I’m actually getting pissed, I’m looking to find what the bill does but I can’t? So I can’t even tell if this is right or not..

I'm not from new zealand but I wish more people acted like this in general, find the strength to stand up against the system put over us instead of sitting quietly and complaining about it behind closed doors.

Aren't parliamentarians not civilised in New Zealand too?

What a bunch of goofballs. This right here is why there are no stories about the Mauri expanding their territories, developing technologies, or contributing advancements for the sake of humanity. It’s just a bunch of noise.

The gall of this news publication to use the word "disrupt". Protest is a democratic right, period!

0:56 to 1:09 This guy sounds ridiculous — trying to claim that the strong opposition to the bill has nothing to do with the fact that the bill aims to up-end much of what is contained in the founding treaty of the country.

Totally ridiculous can’t believe our politicians allowed this in the highest court in the land.
