On the education side, Spangler started his career as a science teacher in the Cherry Creek School district for 12 years. Double dipping is where you take a chip, dip it, take a bite, then dip what's left of the chip again. The "theory" is that when you take a bite, your lips touch the chip. The 2nd dip leaves in the dip what your lips put on the chip.

Best thing to do is spoon out some dip onto own plate and double dip from there.

@ScarFace9797 you know I am biologist and I can tell you that there are billions of bacteria in every one of those Petri dish. If that bacteria get in your mouth you can get some really bad illnesses. That thing can really be dangerous.

you didn't autoclave/sterilize the nutrient agar plates. Those colonies may not necessarily be from the dip but from contamination.

i did an experiment kinda like this where i went around my school and took a sterilized qtip and swabbed something. the agar looked like polka dots i swabbed the sink handles
