Finding Rare Muscle Cars in the Junkyard!

Показать описание
There are many Abandoned classic American muscle cars in this junkyard that I have never seen before. Classic Mustangs and Cameros were more scarce than I was anticipating. But there were plenty of Chevy Vegas and Classis Pick up trucks. The Subaru Brat and Datson 280z were pretty neat finds! Many Nissan 300zx Z31 were scattered across the yard. Also the Porsche 944 hidden in the back was pretty rad!

The rusty 2 door is an AMC Marlin from 1966 It is actually a fairly rare car. That yard could get more for the car by selling it on an AMC collectors page than scrapping it.

The car at 11:01 is a VW Jetta they were very common here in germany. We call them "Golf/Rabbit with a Backpack". Since the Golf model was also renamed to Rabbit in the USA I dont know if the same happened to this one. I love your Videos and especially the Junkyard Adventures fascinate me to see all of these old foreign Cars.

I get this weird feeling seeing all these old cars at wrecking yards. So many people living their lives, many of the cars once something someone proudly owned. School buses that carried thousands of children over the years. The stories they could tell...

16:58 my older brother has a datsun z truck and they are really nifty, they came with the I4 nissan z engine from the 240z and the nissan s30's. really unique how they put those engines in a pickup but hey man its pretty cool to see.

The blue two door 9:03 is a Datsun 210 fastback(Nissan Sunny, B310 chassis) 1979 - 1982. That was the predecessor to the FWD Nissan Sentra/Sunny, B11 chassis. I remember seeing lots of Datsun 210/B210 quite a few in the 80s and 90s. I think most of them got scrapped in the mid 90s, because I stopped seeing them on the roads in the late 90s. The Datsun 210/Nissan Sunny was roughly equivalent to the Toyota Corolla(KE70 & TE70)

17:00 Is Datsun 720 4x4 pickup the they were powered by the Z20, Z22, Z24 engine. The Z-series engine is essentially an L-series 4 cylinder engine with a crossflow cylinder head. The Z24 was replaced by the KA24E in Nissan trucks.

I was born in the 50s and was lucky enough to be driven around in these vehicles. I currently own 5 1960s cars. So many great stories.

At 18:34, that car is an early 70s, probably 1971 AMC Hornet, the same manufacturer that made those red and white Marlins you also came across.

Hey. I know of a Wrecking~Yard, that's closed to the public in Sonoma County! They still let old timers like me in, since it's really hidden and they know that I'll keep it quiet.
I telling ya, but I won't tell ya where!! Hahaha 😆
