Oakland citizens have been screaming for this change (Pursuit policy) and it took for a DA and Mayor to be recalled to be something to be look at? Who created this policy without thinking about the consequence of such policy? Whoever they are, , , get out, get out now!!! You do not have Oakland best interest.

Newsome destroyed this state and Oakland is the best examples of his type of politics, blame the individual city’s and county’s for everything.I run a business in Oakland and it is basically a war zone and where is the sheriff of Alameda county? 5 th richest county in the state nowhere to be seen! In fact I called the sheriff several times and they never called back in fact they the person who answered the phone said they were scared to go there.

Simple, implementation of Martial law and zero tolerance in Oakland, Richmond, Vallejo, and Antioch majority of criminals are from those areas. All they have to do is just make a examples and just clamp down with extremly harsh penalties accountability. Until this happen, nothing will put a stop to the sensless madness.

It is heartbreak to read/hear about an innocent family that has lost their lives or been seriously injured due to a pursuit, but I'm one of many Oakland residents that understand the risks and are gladly willing to accept that risk to see more accountability and criminals being caught. These small business owners are trying to live the American dream through hard and honest work, and some low lives are taking that away. I'm one life long liberal finding myself slipping to the center every year I live in Oakland and that vile PAB POS about to enter office is only going to make our lives worse.
