There are no problems even with hard wood.Εucalyptus for example. It is easier to split hard wood than soft and elastic.

would love to see it do a normal 18"- 20" long block of oak or walnut. it looks like its having a hard time on aome of that dry pine ... plus dont the motor over heat from the almost stalling

as for the pine for example and other soft wood seems to be perfect, I can't recognise the wood on the film- my question is how will it cope with hard wood?

what would happen if you tried to split with the grain rather than across it?
