Growing Dandelions from root cuttings for natural plant dye (Part one)

This is my first attempt at growing dandelions in containers from tap root cuttings to use for natural plant dyeing.

I dug the Dandelions from my apts and used the soil from the earth to re pot it

I eat them. They have some great medicinal properties. You can make tea from the root. The whole plant is edible.

Is it possible you regrow a dry dandelion from a herbal tea packet? I am having hard time finding true dandelion in my location, I want to grow it for salads and tea.

Hey. I've never done the natural dye, but I have gotten bleed off of plants on my skin & clothing before from yard work. I'll be interested to see those videos.
Question. How is the Dollar Tree soils working for you? I purchased a bag years ago & it was junk. The prices at the Lowe's & Walmart are practically double & I need a lot. I'm doing raised beds with my 5 grandsons. One has ADD & its about the only thing that keeps his attention & wears him out during the summer. They all love picking their seeds & plants & being responsible for their containers.
